Alex & Alex – Married!

Alexander and Alexendra tied the knot on August 28th 2021! Their love story is so incredibly special. Their friends refer to them as boy Alex and girl Alex, and so that is how I will refer to them <3

When boy Alex’s mother Terri married a man named Terri, all of his friends joked about how fun it would be if he married someone named Alex; well look where we are today!

Alex and Alex are high school sweethearts, and girl Alex had been planning this special day even way before boy Alex proposed that memorable day on the Sky Bridge in Gatlinburg Tennessee. She was still surprised!

When girl Alex told me she wanted to have her first look at the Columbus Metro Library, I was ESTATIC. She sent me an inspiration photo of the first look on a grand staircase, and I think we pulled it off nicely. These are some of my favorite photos from their wedding day!

One of my favorite parts of their wedding (being a dog lover myself!) was how they incorporated their dog Emmy into the day. Emmy was the star of their engagement photos, and was the flowergirl for their wedding. And I especially loved how they created a drink to be served that was inspired by Emmy herself, the Emmy Cocktail. Even the drink napkins had Emmy clipart on them!

Something super memorable that stuck with me was how girl Alex incorporated the memory of her parents, despite them not being able to be physically present with her that day. She had beautiful charms with their pictures to attach to her bouquet. On girl Alex’s birthday, she asked boy Alex’s mom Terri if she would walk her down the isle. What an honor Terri must have felt to be able to fill that role.

Alex and Alex’s wedding day was so wonderful, and I am so excited to call them my friend. I can’t wait to watch what adventures life will take you both on next.
